Compass Rose
The compass rose box is dovetailed and over veneered with Brazilian Mahogany. The marquetry has been created using Rio Rosewood, Boxwood and Purpleheart. Acid catalyst lacquer has been used to polish the box.
Internal cradle linings have been formed using velvet to support the silver port and starboard mills.
